Recreation

The residential complex and its extensive property is located within the boundaries of the old Village of Lija; approximately 4 Kms from the University Campus. Residents can roam acres of picturesque property , dotted with 200 year-old remains of farm houses (some are fully restored and available as housing) rubble walls, and a variety of interesting flora and fauna.

Residents can enjoy getting together to exercise their sporting instincts and skills on a well maintained tennis court and a full-sized basketball court. Joggers and runners have a 400 metre low-impact circuit by which to maintain their regimes. Swimming is just moments away from everyone's front door, making the pool easily enjoyable.

The Malta University Residence is close to Malta's shopping centres, historical and cultural sites. Public transport is within walking distance and links destinations through-out Malta and Gozo. A free student bus service runs on a daily schedule and is available from the front entrance of the residence for travel to and from the Malta University Campus.

The Multimedia Room

Conveniently located close to the snack bar. The multimedia room is equipped for projection on to a big screen. This is connected to our Cable TV for the screening of Sports and other Events, as well as to DVD and Video players for the projection of movies etc. On request the projector can be linked to laptop computers for presentations.
